This is the most recent version of the TV Everywhere App and is available now on the Apple TV, Apple TV Stick, Roku, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One S, Windows 10 Mobile, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
To get the app, head to the Apple Store, go to Apps and select TV Everywhere or TV.
To use the app to watch live TV, you’ll need to have an Apple TV.
The app uses a new data-based model that will be updated throughout the week to account for the new and improved algorithms that are coming to the TV app, according to Apple.
While you can now watch ESPN for free on the TV and app, you will have to purchase an ESPN subscription to watch content from ESPN.com and other partners.

The TV Everywhere app now also has the option to save a favorite to your phone for offline viewing.
“We’re always looking for new ways to help consumers find the TV experience they want, when they want it, and for the TV apps to stay relevant,” said Joe Costello, senior VP of TV for Apple TV at Apple.
